CAMPA ‘CÚL’: The Kellogg’s GAA Cúl Camp will take place in Connolly Park from July

PEIL FAOI 12: We had a win for the A’s and a loss for the Bs in Killorglin versus Laune Rangers on Sunday last.
PEIL FAOI 14:U14’s, our A team travelled to Kenmare on Wednesday evening in the 3rd round of the County League where we came away with a narrow 1 pt win to keep us top of the League. Highlight of the game was a screamer of a goal from our captain on the night, our wing back Sean Moynihan.

On Saturday we were in Lewis road Killarney for the 2019 Feile qualifiers.

We played Kilcummin in the semi-final and had a great win to put us in the final versus a very strong Kenmare team.

After 10 mins we trailed by 2-2 to no score but a fantastic team goal finished off by captain fantastic Noah Townsend set the tone for the rest of the game. We were 3pts down at half time but finished with a 6-4 to 3-3 win.

The U14B’s got their rearranged County League Div9A campaign off to a flying start in Connolly Park on Monday evening last with an exciting 5-11 to 5-8 victory against Dr.Crokes.

Played on the Nun’s field with a great crowd of supporters, both sides served up a high scoring game with MOTM Ciaran Kavanagh contributing 2-1 from play.

The U14B’s captained by Adam O’Carroll got their Co.League Div9A back on schedule on Wednesday with a convincing 5-12 to 1-4 Home victory over a spirited Laune Rangers side.

MOTM Dylan Cunningham gave a great display with a total haul of 4-2 from Play.

The team have one remaining game in the group stage which has been rearranged for this coming Friday 26th away to Keel/Listry in Keel.

GAELTACHT SCHOLARSHIP? Apply today (last chance!) if you’d like to receive a
GAA Gaeltacht scholarship. Do you want to attend an Irish language course (holiday) in the
Corca Dhuibhne Gaeltacht during the summer holidays. Over the years, many young
members of The Rock Club were on these Cúrsaí Gaeilge and thoroughly enjoyed the sport,
lessons, music, song and dance in atmaisféar Gaelach. It’s a great way to begin preparations
for an Irish oral exam….worth 40% of marks in the Leaving Certificate Examination.

PEIL FAOI 16: We had a good win over good Ardfert side last week and we played Castlegregory in our final group game on Monday last.
