FREWEN CUP (Munster Schools U16½ “A” Football):

Coláiste de la Salle (Macroom): 1-18; Tralee CBS: 0-16. The Green trailed by 3 points at half-time (0-8 to 0-11).

Their game improved in the second half and they drew level but a converted penalty by Macroom gave the Cork team the edge; they finish stronger. Sympathies to Dáithí Couchman, Anraí Ó Ceallacháin, Seosamh Ó Lúbaigh, Gearóid Mac Gearailt, Seán Cuiltéir. Munster semi-finalists: Macroom v St. Flannan’s College; St. Brendan’s College v Coláiste Chríost Rí.

KERRY:

Sympathies to the Kerry team v Ros Comáin.
