CO. BOARD ‘CÚL’ CAMP: This week’s GAA Cúl Camp in Connolly Park has been a great success. Well done, all!
FAOI 6: (i) More football on Sunday. (ii) Our evening Under 6 football sessions will continue at 5.45pm on Thursday i bPáirc Uí Chonghaile.
FAOI 8: (i) Our Sunday morn’ football will continue as usual. (ii) Under 8 Go Games will take place at 6.15pm on Tuesday (7th) at the John Mitchel Club grounds. This is the final evening of the successful County Board round robin 4-club blitz. (iii) Under 8 football will be held ag 5.45pm on Thursday in Connolly Park.
FAOI 10: (i) See you all for football in Caherslee on Sunday morning, boys. (ii) The ever successful Go Games blitz will be held at the John Mitchel Club this week. This is the final evening of the very successful County Board round robin 4-club blitz for our Under 10 boys. (iii) We look forward to our challenge v Neidín.
FAOI 12/13: (i) No…no training for the Under 12s this week because of our involvement in the ‘Cúl’ Camp. (ii) The U12s will make up the Under 13B team on Sunday evenings. (iii) Training will continue on Tuesdays and on Thursdays. (iv) Last week we travelled to Limerick to take part in Mungret St Paul Club’s invitational tournament. We lost our first match against D/Barefield (Co. an Chláir) but we had more luck in our second match, winning comfortably against MSP. Our final game ended in a draw v Ballincollig (Corcaigh). We would like to thank MSP for inviting the Rockies to Limerick. FAOI 16: We had no game last week due to the involvement of players in the development squads. Our A team has won both opening games; the Bs won one and lost one. Next games: (i) AdeS A v Dr Crokes A at 7.30pm on Wednesday July 15th in Lewis Road; (ii) AdeS B v Kilcummin B at 7.30pm on Wednesday July 15th in Connolly Park.
