Austin Stacks’ Survival Bid Starts Against South Kerry Opposition In Killorglin

AUSTIN STACKS will face St Micheals/Foilmore in a relegation playoff in Killorglin on Saturday, November 21 at 2pm.

The other relegation playoff will be Laune Rangers v Ardfert, to be played in Ballymacelligott, also on Saturday November 21.

The Rock will have to first get over the south Kerry side, then beat the winners of Laune Rangers v Ardfert to ensure their senior championship status.

Last year’s county and Munster champions are faced with this dilemma after losing to Milltown/Castlemaine in Castleisland last Saturday.

Earlier this year, when both sides met in the league Stacks beat Foilmore by a scoreline of 3-14 to 0-17, down in South Kerry.

Saturday November 21

Killorglin: Austin Stacks v St Micheals/Foilmore 2pm

Ballymacelligott: Laune Rangers v Ardfert 2pm
