A BALLYDUFF man was named Best Young Business Person at the Micro Business Awards at the weekend.
“It was a fantastic honour to receive such a wonderful award and I truly hope that I can live up to the title in the coming months/years,” wrote Aidan O’Carroll of Avalanche Designs in his website blog.

The awards which are in their second year, consisted of 11 categories and was held in Dungarvan, Co Waterford on Saturday. There were a number of judges, including Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation, Mary Mitchell O’Connor, deciding on the winners.
“It was a great ceremony in Dungarvan and I want to say thank you to all the organisers, judges, nominees and to absolutely everybody who was involved in a great event. I have no doubt that next year will be even more of a success!” said Aidan.
Avalanche Designs is a digital solutions firm that builds websites and marketing materials for businesses and individuals in Ireland and all over the world.
