The awards, which were presented by Minister of State for Tourism and Sport, Michael Ring, T.D., recognise hotels and guesthouses that attract, empower and develop employees in line with the overall goals and objectives of the Quality Employer Programme.

Katie was joined by hotel proprietor Padraig McGillicuddy to pick up the award, who acknowledged the work that is done by the HR Department at Ballygarry House Hotel & Spa.

“Katie works tirelessly behind the scenes to make sure everyone is carefully selected, inducted, trained & turned out for our guests. This plays an important part in ensuring the high standards we aim for everyday in the hotel are met and exceeded.”
