Ballygarry - new banquetting suite

Ballygarry House Hotel & Spa has invested over €250,000 in re-developing the new Monarch Suite.

BALLYGARRY House Hotel and Spa has recently invested over €250,000 in the refurbishment and renovation of one of its major banqueting suites in the hotel.

The four star hotel which was recently voted  Number 5 hotel in Ireland on TripAdvisor, oversaw the massive investment which led to their ‘Monarch Suite’ being completely redone.

This saw an overhaul of the fabrics, curtains, carpets, seating, antiqued mirrors, wood work and light fittings  to give the room a fresh and classically chic look.

The Monarch Suite, which can cater for weddings ranging from just 50 to 380 guests. The main factor in deciding to refurbish the room was the surge in weddings that the hotel has experienced recently, with all their weekend dates for 2015 almost fully booked out.

“We are very dedicated to ensuring the interiors at Ballygarry House are kept up to date with all modern conveniences. The refurbishment of The Monarch Suite matched the traditional hospitality values of our staff, whilst ensuring the needs and expectations of modern day brides and grooms are met and exceeded.” said Padraig McGillycuddy, who is the owner Ballygarry House Hotel & Spa.

This upgrade was a smaller part of a larger investment of €350,000 which will also see investment in energy efficiency for the property and a yearly phase of bedroom refurbishment.
