Glenderry NS pupils and teachers look forward to Christmas concert.

EXCITEMENT is building in Glenderry NS, Ballyheigue, as they prepare for their earlier than usual Christmas Concert.

This year they decided to bring the concert to the Community Centre in the village, as the Parents Association had requested for many years. It will take place on November 28 at 7pm.

After much deliberation between staff, music teacher Ann O’Mahony and dance teacher Joe Burkett, it was decided to present a Glenderry version of the “Late Late Toy Show”.

At this stage all auditions have been held and the children are practising very hard.  The last audition was for the position of Ryan Tubridy and this was filled by Brendan Fuller of Radio Kerry fame.
