THERE was great excitement in a Ballymac household on Saturday night when Mary Bonn’s name was called out on ‘Winning Streak’.

But Mary will have to wait a little while longer to get her hands on any prizes, as the National Lottery show takes a break for this St Patrick’s weekend and returns on Saturday, March 24.

Mary will get her son Alan to appear on the show. Alan is a sales rep for McVities / United Biscuits and was at the cinema with girlfriend Emma last weekend when the call came through from mom Mary to say she was pulled out and would he do the honours and go on the show.

Alan is sports mad and loves all types, especially GAA his local club Ballymacelligott GAA. He also owns two greyhounds, one is a pup in training and the other, Limitless One, can be found racing around Tralee track. With her winnings, Mary wants a new car.
