GLENFESK 3-15 BALLYMAC 0-9
Our first minor Co League game was away to Glenfesk last Saturday evening.short a number of key players we fielded a very young team .
Despite Glenflesk being the physically stronger team we were very unlucky not to score at least 3 goals, their goalie bringing off a number of fine saves, and the ball hitting the goal frame on at least 3 occasions.
Our opponents were quickly into their stride scoring 2 goals inside the first 3 minutes .They were the better side for most of the half and were well ahead at half time.Ballymac came more into the game in the second half but the goals we needed never came.
Daire Broderick did most of our scoring with Barry Lyons, Adam Joy and James Mcdonnell also getting on the scoresheet. Our next Co League game is at home to Glenbeigh/Glencar/Cromane on Sat 3rd March. Best wishes to Tadhg Brick, Daire Keane, and Josh o Keeffe who are members of the CBS The Green panel for next Saturdays Corn Ui Mhuirí final in Killarney.

Registration for the 2018 Season
U12 Boys Registration is on next Friday the 23rd of February between 8-9pm under the stand. All parents and players are invited to register their child and listen to a talk on club code of ethics. It is compulsory that all players are registered and parents and players have attended the code of ethics presentation before they take the field this year.
General club registration is on next Sunday the 25th of February between 5-8pm under the stand in Ballymacelligott GAA club. All new members welcome. Any queries with respect to registration please contact Robbie Harris our juvenile registrar on 0872053532
Ballymac Academy 2018
Ballymac Academy for 2018 recommences on Sunday the 11th of March @ the new time of 11.15am. The academy is open to all girls and boys living in Ballymac parish. Gaeltacht Scholarships
Gaeltacht Scholarships are funded by GAA Coistí (Munster, Kerry & District Boards) to give some financial help to young students who wish to spend time in Corcha Dhuibhne, West Kerry over the summer months.
If you wish your child to avail of the scoláireacht, apply immediately by texting your child’s name, and Club Membership number to Club Secretary at 086-8599392 .Closing date for receipt of applications 28th February. The scholarship is limited to one per club so a draw will take place in the club if we have more than one applications. Míle Buíochas
Coaching Work Shop for U14, U16 and Minor Coaches:
Coaching Workshop aimed at U14, U 16 and Minor Club and School Coaches will take place on Wednesday 21st February at 8pm in Moyderwell Primary School Hall, Boherbee, Tralee.
This will be a practical session on Games Based Coaching and Conditioned Games delivery by Kerry U 16 Coaches James Costello and Pa McCarthy. The session will demonstrate a series of Conditioned Games that will focus on improving all aspects of player and team performance.
The entrance to the Hall is across the road from O Mahony’s Bakery in Boherbee Tralee.
Cost of the workshop is 5 euros per coach.
