The AGM of Ballymacelligott GAA Club took place on Sunday last in our Club rooms.

The Club Officers for 2019 are as follows:

The Executive Committee for 2019 is as follows: Stephen O’Brien, Patrick  White, Kieran Savage, Fionnán Fitzgerald, Bernard Cassidy, Helen Leen, Oonagh O’Rahilly, Pádraig Laide, Kevin Leen, Bridget Leen,  Anthony Curran, Ger Collins, James Godley, Donal Rahilly.

The meeting opened with a minutes silence for the deceased member of the club. The Club Chairman thanked everyone who attended the meeting. He thanked everyone involved in our various subcommittees for their voluntary work during the year. He also thanked all our players, sponsors and supporters. He paid special tribute to our Senior Manager and his selectors Tom Shea and Dennis O’Connor for all their commitment to our senior players all year.  Despite the less than ideal start, to their year they turned the year around and against all odds retained Division 2 status for the club. He added it had been a good year for the club and it was a testament to all the volunteers working so hard for the club

Sympathy

Ballymacelligott GAA Club wishes to extend its sympathy to the family of Weeshie Fogarty who died during the week.  Weeshie was a renowned broadcaster and journalist and May He  Rest in Peace.

Ballymac GAA Strictly Love Dancing 2019

Ballymac GAA have officially launched the 2019 Strictly Love Dancing which will take place on Saturday 26th of January at the Ballygarry Hotel.

In what will be the finale of this ever popular event it promises to be the best show yet and our eager dancers are all set for the challenge.

Tickets are now available from the club and all enquiries can be made through the Ballymac GAA facebook page or contact any committee member , but hurry as they will go fast.

We still have openings for anyone that would like to join our fantastic dance team , just contact Noelle 0871613069 and we will do the rest.
