Jer Lynch former Ballymac GAA Chairman ,Declan O ‘Connell  &Ger Collins  Chairman and Secretary of Ballymac GAA Coiste na nÓg and Mike Sweeney Ballymac GAA Club Chairman  with the Club of the Year trophy which Ballymac won jointly with Ballyduff at the Coiste na nOg AGM last Monday night t in the Rose Hotel.

Ballymac Coiste na nÓg win Club of the year.

Pride of place goes this week to the Ballymacelligott GAA Coiste na nÓg who jointly won Kerry Coiste na nÓg for 2019.

The announcement was made last Monday night at the Kerry Coiste na nÓg AGM. Declan O’Connell Chairman and Ger Collins Secretary of Ballymac Coiste na nÓg were so proud to accept the award on behalf of the club.

The award goes to everyone involved : coaches, administrators and referees.  We also must acknowledge all the work done by previous administrators and coaches  of our club at Coiste na nÓg.

We have great structures’ that are a testament to all the hard work everyone has done down through the years. It is a lovely way to end the year.

After the announcement Declan O’Connell, Chairman of Ballymac Coiste nanÓg  issued the following statement on behalf of himself and Ger Collins:

“I am delighted to announce that Ballymac Gaa Coiste na nÓg has been selected as Kerry Gaa Coiste Na nÓg club of the year(jointly with Ballyduff), I personally want to thank each and everyone of you: coaches, administrators, players, parents and referees, from the bottom of my heart for all the work you have put in for a number of years looking after the kids in our club, Coaching them and helping them along in life.

You are all a credit to our great club. We should all take great pride in this award and been recognised by our peers and our county board as the standout club this year. Well done all, Ballymac Abú!”

Everyone in Ballymac GAA sends their best wishes to our own hardworking club member  Emma Sweeney who contests the Assistant Secretary post of Kerry County Board next Tuesday night.

Date for the Diary: Coiste na nÓg AGM
The AGM of Ballymac GAA, Coiste na nÓg will take place on Sunday 5th January 2020.

We send all our best wishes to our Scór na nÓg participants who will take part in Scór next weekend. On Saturday 14th our Quiz team of : Maurice ‘Connell, Sean Rice, Iseult Ní Bhriain and Jared Ó Briain travel to Glenbeigh. Ballymac Abú!
