Ballymacelligott Volunteer Group up and running again

The Ballymacelligott Volunteer Group made up of about 50 members is ready and willing to help elderly, those alone and the vulnerable in the weeks ahead. They will deliver foodstuffs, medicine, fuel etc to anyone in the area who needs the support and help. We work in conjunction with Ballymacelligott GAA, Ballymacelligott Community Alert, Local Link Kerry, Pat McCarthy and family at The Halfway Shop and many great people in our community.

All that need be done is to message or ring this number and The Volunteer Group will do the rest.

No one should feel alone or isolated or vulnerable in a great company like Ballymac. We stand tall and stand together over the coming weeks. We have overcome many trials in the past and will do so again.

Social Bubbles

If there is someone close to your house who lives alone you could consider the idea of forming a Social Bubble in which that person could keep contact with you and your family – a very worthwhile thing in the coming weeks, check out all the information in the link here:https://www.gov.ie/en/publication/3516d-support-bubbles/

Ciarraí Abú

Well done to the Kerry Senior team on winning the Allianz League title for 2020. WE wish Peter Keane, his management team and the Kerry Senior Squad every success in the munster Championships in two weeks’ time.

Inter-Club Activity

Please note Inter-Club games will not be resuming for the remainder of this year. Activity at all levels (Senior & Juvenile) including collective training is also suspended. This follows recent correspondence from Croke Park which was circulated to all the units and the anticipated increase in countrywide restrictions that is due to be announced by the Government
