Ballymac GAA Club AGM 2020
The Ballymacelligott GAA AGM is to take place on Sunday 10th January at 2pm Online.
Details and link to the meeting will be sent out a few days before the AGM itself.

Nominations:
No New Nominations to positions on the Officer Board have been received.
Officers from the Year 2020 have indicated their willingness to continue in their respective roles.

Rúin/Motion:
Club Rule regarding U-12’s, where you play with the A Team (Blue Team) if you are 12 years of age on the given year and you play with the B Team (Gold Team) if you are 11 years of age on the given year to be changed to U-11’s from the 2021 season as per the age grades changing to uneven U-11’s, U-13’s, U-15’s & U-17’s.

New Club Rule:
U-11 age group to go by age and not by ability when picking teams for all games, this means if the games are 11 a side oldest player must play with the A Team (Blue Team) and same with the subs. Players may go down to the B Team (Gold Team) if the parent is agreeable it will benefit the player’s progress
U-13’s to go on ability and enter 2 teams into competition

Please note:  As per guidelines from Croke Park, The Executive will meet within the 10 days following the AGM and give a decision on the Motions brought to the AGM above.

The AGM of Ballymac Coiste na nÓg

The AGM of Ballymac Coiste na nÓg will take place on Sunday evening next January 10th at 3.30pm.
This meeting will be held via Zoom.
The link will be forwarded in the coming week.

CLUB SPECIFIC GUIDELINES

Club Games and Training

In level 5 and under the current restrictions in the North, individual training only is permitted – neither adult nor underage teams may train collectively.

GAA club grounds must stay closed.

Club games are not permitted

Use of Indoor Team Facilities

Dressing rooms, showers and all other indoor training facilities should remain closed for club activities.

Club Gyms must remain closed until further notice.

Committee Meetings
No indoor meetings can be held.

Officer Training
All officer Training must be delivered online. Outdoor coaching education courses are not permitted.

Club Bars
Club Bars must remain closed until the current restrictions are lifter.

Indoor Events on GAA Property
No organised indoor gatherings can take place under the current restrictions.
Commercial use of indoor halls (for example by state bodies – e.g. HSE/Schools is permitted where agreement was in place prior to March and relevant insurance are in place.   These are the only instances in which indoor activity is permitted on GAA Club property.

Outdoor Events on GAA Property
No outdoor gatherings on GAA property are permitted.
Exception: Walkways may stay open for use by the community with social distancing in place.

Results of the Play Ball Draw 28th December 2020

The numbers drawn in this week (28/12/20) play Ball lotto draw were: 11,24,25 and 16.
There was no winner of the Jackpot of €1120.00
