Help Ballymacelligott LGFA

Help Ballymacelligott LGFA Level the Playing Field by collecting stamps with Lidl plus until 11th April.

There are some great rewards from a set of jerseys to cash rewards, all which would be beneficial to our club for when we return to the pitch.

All you have to do is follow these 4 simple steps:

1. Download/Open the Lidl Plus app and follow the prompts on screen

2. Select the club you want to support

3. Spend over €30 in store and scan your Lidl Plus card to earn a stamp (over €60 = 2 stamps, over €90 = 3 stamps, etc.)

4. Collect 6 stamps and submit your completed card by Sunday, April 11th

Sean Hennessy Chairman of Ballymac LGFA and Veronica O’Donnell PRO of Ladies LGFA have done a lovely Video to explain this in full and its available on our web site and Social Media outlets.

Health & Wellbeing Committee

Buddy Time has arrived.
Buddy is continuing every Sunday morning at 11.00am – helping our young future stars keep fit over lockdown! He was spotted flyinh around the Parish of Ballymacelligott during the week trying to keep his fitness up!

Ballymac Health & Well-Being invite all children aged 4 to 7 years old, who live in Ballymac to join us live Sunday next 7th March at 11.00am. Anyone who missed the previous Sunday’s class can check the recording during the week and have a fun exercise class with Buddy & Friends any time at all.  The link will be available on our website and Facebook and Twitter pages. We have a new class live on Sunday next and Buddy wants to see EVERY boy and girl on Sunday morning!
GET UP & GET MOVING! LET’S HAVE SOME FUN!

Ballymac GAA celebrating Seachtain na Gaeilge

Ballymac Health & Wellbeing Committee and Coiste na Gaeilge will run a walking week to celebrate Seachtain na Gaeilge. We are asking as many people as possible  to walk a little bit every day from Monday 15th March to Sunday 22nd March and this will include St Patricks day. Ideally, we would like everyone involved and we are anxious to spread the message to our friends and neighbours that do not have access to Social Media.  We have volunteers who will help with the logistics and all we ask this week is to spread the message and we will circulate full details during the week.

Má tá aon duine sa Pharóiste go bhfuil Gaeilge acu agus a bheidh in ann cúpla uair a chloig a thabhairt dúinn – chur glaoch go 087 9795220.

Coaching & Games

We want to remind Clubs that Kerry GAA Coaching and Games have a number of training sessions on their YouTube platform to keep players motivated during the current lockdown.

Kerry Coiste na nÓg will  not be sending out any groups/fixtures over the

next couple of weeks or until we have a potential start date for our competitions.

.

As before, we continue to urge clubs to follow the current guidelines. As the numbers decrease, the vaccination continues and the evenings begin to stretch, we can be hopeful that we can return to our playing pitches over the coming months, but until then we must continue to adhere to the nationwide restrictions.

Congratulations

Well done to John Joe O’Carroll from Asdee and former Treasurer of Kerry County Board on his election as one of the two Trustee to Central Council. We wish John Joe every success in his new position. This was a position that Ballymac GAA man Din Joe Baily was elected to in 1941
