Ladies News:

Ladies club membership

It’s great to see such a high number in our ladies squad. This year we have 90 players in our teams from U12 up to Senior and an additional 40 or so playing with the academy. The future of Ladies football in Ballymacelligott is looking good.

Goalkeeper workshop

On Wednesday last our U16 and Senior Goalies were put through their paces by Mike Crossan, former Donegal goalkeeper. The girls thoroughly enjoyed the session.

U16

The U16 girls will play Rathmore on Monday 7th June at 5pm in Rathmore. This is a great opportunity for the girls to get them back into the swing of things and put all their hard work in training into action.

U12

On Monday 7th June the U12 girls begin their North Kerry League. They welcome Beale at 12pm. Good luck to the girls and their coaches.

Kerry Ladies

We would like to extend our congratulations to the Kerry Ladies on this weekend victory.

Health & Wellbeing Committee

Our Health and Well-Being Committee have put together an excellent summary video to celebrate the launch of Ballymac GAA Healthy Club Launch. It is well worth watching to get a flavour of what Ballymacelligott GAA Health and Well-Being have achieved with the Ballymacelligott Community despite extraordinarily difficult circumstances especially in the past year.

Well done to Oonagh O’Rahilly and The Health and Well-Being Committee who have willed this project into a solid reality that will benefit everyone in our community. This video is available on our web site and Social Media platforms and is well worth watching.

Our healthy club initiatives continued with the U17 Boys team last Monday evening.
They each received a bottle of water and literature on the importance of HYDRATION during and after exercise,

Thanks to Sean Hennessy Corrib Tralee for sponsoring the water.
