Club Senior Team

Our Senior team are due to start their County League competition next Sunday 20th of March.  They will play Spa at home in Ballymac at 2pm

They are playing in Division 1 this year and we look forward to supporting the Team and Management. All support welcomed.

Membership for 2022
Membership for Ballymac GAA Club 2022 is now open and can only be paid online via our website or via the clubforce app. Membership has to be paid for all academy and male players by end of March.

It is vital that all players pay membership so that all players are covered for insurance.

There are two options to pay:

1. Click into ballymacgaa.com and click on the link to register. The system leads your through the process once you have logged in.

Does the club force app cost money?

The app is free to download.

Once you download and open the app you can register.

Football

Well done to the Kerry Senior football team on a win over Mayo in Austin Stacks Park, Tralee on Saturday night. In very cold and wet conditions

Under 17s

Our under 17s played Ballyduff on Saturday at home,

The final score was Ballymac 2-8 Ballyduff 3-8

 

Under 13

Our 2 Under 13 teams were to play this weekend but the bad weather saw both games cancelled

St. Patricks Day Parade

Ballymac Coiste na NÓg will take part in the St. Patricks Day parade on Thursday, final details are not available at the minute, keep an eye on social media over next day or so.

Academy

Academy was due to restart this morning but unfortunately had to be postponed and will now return next Sunday 20th March 2022 at 11 am

Please try to arrive early for Academy on next Sunday, coaches will be there from 10.50am

Please Park responsibly to respect our neighbours access and passing traffic while Academy is taking place, there is additional parking in our training field

The club shop will be open during academy, Teas, Coffees etc.  Please try to support if you can all money goes back to run our club, looking forward to seeing everyone

Confirmation

We would like to congratulate all the boys and girls of the parish on making their confirmation during the week, hope everyone had a lovely time with their families.

Scór na NÓg Quiz

Well done to Micheal Savage, Sean Rice, Haulie Culloty and Ray Horgan who represented the club in the Scór na NÓg quiz on Friday night.

Registration

This is a reminder that Ballymacelligott GAA member registration is now open for the 2022 season. The Ladies’ rates are now available and will appear on the club website (www.ballymacgaa.com )

We ask that you register as soon as possible.

You can register online using the link on our website.

There is an additional facility this year that allows you to pay your membership in instalments.

School football
Well done to Roisin Rahilly and Anna Collins who play with Mounthawk Junior Girls football team who won the All-Ireland semi-final on Saturday in Banagher. Unfortunately, Kate Collins couldn’t play due to illness! Fantastic result as these girls bring Mercy Mounthawk to their first ever football All-Ireland final.  They did it in style too! Well done to the team and coaches.

U14 Kerry team
Well done to Jamie Lee O Connor who captioned the Kerry U14 team last Saturday. A huge honour for an excellent footballer and whole parish of Ballymacelligott. A draw concluded the game.

Ballymac Senior Ladies

Ballymac Senior Ladies had their first challenge game of the season against John Mitchels. Thanks to John Mitchels for a great game.

Ballymacelligott Senior Ladies have their first game in The Donal Curtain Cup next Sunday 20th March. More details to follow.

Ballymacelligott GAA Play Ball Draw Results from Monday 7th March 2022

Last Monday nights Play Ball Jackpot was conducted live on Facebook by Gene O’Keeffe and Dave Slattery with Paula Silles on camera duty.

The numbers drawn were 2,16,18 and 32.

There was no winner of the Jackpot of € 13,100.00

The three lucky dip winners were:

€30.00: Brian Brosnan

€20.00: Shane Leen

€20.00: Brendan Moriarty

Next week’s Jackpot is €13,200.00 and the draw will take place on Facebook Live on Monday 14th   March after 6pm

Ticket sales close at 6 pm sharp.

or via our mobile app and our sellers are Paula Silles, Gene O’Keeffe, and The Half Way Shop. The closing time for entries from the shop will be 4 pm on Mondays to facilitate the draw.
