Club Senior Team

On Saturday evening in a wet and overcast Rathmore out mens senior team faced off against Rathmore in Rd. 8 of Div. 1 of the Credit Union County Lge.

With the Rathmore defence repelling some early Ballymac attacks while the Rathmore attack ensured they moving into an early lead.

Ballymac were unlucky in have two goal chances replied by a goal line clearance by their corner back and a penalty save by their goal keeper.

The teams went in at half time with the home team leading on a score line of 0-13 to 0-04.

With Ballymac pressing hard in the second half the play swung from end to end in a hotly contested half.

At different times both teams were reduced 14 due to the issuing of black cards.

However the half time gap proved to much to close and the game finished on a score line of 0-17 to 1-09 and win for Rathmore.

U11 Boys

Our U11 Ballymac boys played against Milltown/ Castlemaine on Thursday 2nd June.

Our gold team played an enjoyable but tough game against a strong side and all eleven boys gave it their all. Even the rain couldn’t dampen their spirits. Well done to the U9 boys who were called up to help out. Many thanks to our supporters and the lads from Milltown/Castlemaine for coming out. Míle buíochas also to our own two players Diarmuid Galvin and Skye Lynch for refereeing the two games. Training continues on Monday evening and our next game is Thursday 9th June away to Firies.

Under 9

Our u 9 continued Training on Sunday morning from 11-12 on the Main pitch.
We have up to 24 players registered which is great to see and the boys are making great progress each week.
We remind players to practice their skills at home on the long bright summer evenings .
We play Currow Spa & Listry in the u 9 Go Games Blitz and we are all looking forward to these games in the near future.

Acadmey

The pitch was alive with football games this morning as both our U5 and U7 Academy squads honed their team playing skills. Even our very youngest players (some just turned 4 years old) had a go at one of their very first games. Their beaming smiles when they scored their first goal made our days. The coaches are so proud of all our Academy players.

Health and Welbeing

Mothers and Others continues every Tuesday evening at main pitch from 6.15pm to 7.15pm. Our skills will be put to the test this coming Sunday 12th at 10am as we play Milltown Castlemaine in our first challenge game! Exciting times!

Our Little Stars (GAA for ALL) will commence this Thursday 9th June at 6.30pm in the Training pitch. Children with additional needs are welcome to attend for fun and sociable games. Contact Oonagh 087-7532949 to book your place.
