Club Senior Team

Ballymac GAA v Austin Stacks GAA

On Sunday, in dry and blustery conditions our Senior Men’s team faced Austin Stacks in Round 9 of the Div. 1 Senior County football league in Ballymac GAA.

In a tightly contested first 20 minutes, both sides were testing each other out with scores difficult to come by with some great defending on display. However, it was the visitors who proved a little more clinical in the first period and the half time score was Ballymac 0-1 Austin Stacks 1-4

Austin Stacks added a further three goals in the second half which ended the game as a contest however our boys battled on and showed some great fighting spirit up until the final whistle.

It was Austin Stacks who left Ballymac GAA with the two points on a final score of

Ballymac 0-5 Austin Stacks 4-8.
