Club Senior Team

On Saturday night Ballymacelligott hosted Kerins O’Rahillys in Rd. 10 of the Division 1 Co. Lge. On a very wet, cold and blustery night that you would not expect in June this hotly contested match served up plenty of entertainment for the crowd who braved the elements.

Despite a large amount of possession KOR failed to convert on the score board with Ballymac seeing the better of the first half with 2 goals. However, forced substitution due to injury turned the tide back in KOR’s favour. Ballymac lead by 4 points at the half.

A red card half way through the second half saw KOR reduced to 14 but that only inspired them to press Ballymac with the game all square on the 55min.

However, 2 points gave Ballymac the lead which they did not surrender despite a late black card. Final score was Ballymac 2-06 / KOR 0-10
