This team has been very active over the Summer with games in the Co. Junior League and Tralee District Board Competitions, under the management of Bridget Leen, Aidan Breen and Cian Counihan. A speedy recovery to Aaron Dunne who sustained a shoulder injury in a recent club game.

FIELD DEVELOPMENT

Many thanks to all Club volunteers who helped with the laborious job of stone picking at our training field on Saturday last. It was very heartening to see such a big crowd willing to help in the continued development of our training field. Seeding of the field is due to take place this week which should ensure it should be ready for action in 2015.

MARIE QUIRKE

Congratulations to Marie Quirke from Barrakilla who was part of the Kerry’s Ladies team who defeated Donegal after extra time to progress in the All Ireland Championship.

WEDDING BELLS

Congratulations to Frank O Rahilly and his bride Katie Nolan from Castleisland who were married on Friday last. All the Club wish Katie & Frank health and happiness in their future together.

COISTE NA NOG FAOI 16:

Finuge 1-08 Ballymac 0-12

Our U16’s travelled to Finuge last Wednesday evening in the last round of County League. After a tight game all the way through we came away with a hard earned one point victory which gives us a home Semi Final against Scart/Cordal this Wednesday evening at 7pm. As we are unbeaten in the league stages of the competition we hope the lads can keep up this good form going and reach the County League Final.

FAOI 11:

Last Tuesday evening we welcomed John Mitchels to Ballymac in Rd. 5 of Coiste Trá Lí and the big crowd that attended were treated to a cracking game of attacking football by both sides. This Tuesday evening we are at home to St. Pats and on Thursday we are away to Austin Stacks in the final two rounds of the competition with both games kicking off at 6.30pm.

FAOI 10:

Our U10’s are due to travel to Castleisland on this Saturday, 9th August for a Blitz organised by Opel. This promises to be a great day of football for our young players. Go Raibh Maith agat to all who attended the Cúl Camps this year, Many Thanks to all the coaches, and Co-ordinators Michéal Quirke and Donál Daly from the County board for all their help in ensuring a successful and fun week for all the participants.

Well Done to Dylan Dunne Moriarty won a football on the last day of the camp. Sincere Thanks also to the parents and coaches who helped on Sunday on our bus trip to the Kerry v Galway game in Dublin.
