The next round of The St. Brendan’s Senior League sees John Mitchels take on Ballymac. This fixture is to take place this Friday evening under lights at the John Mitchels Complex. For further details check our Facebook & Twitter accounts during the week.

Our Seniors take on Austin Stacks at home in the next round of the Tralee Town Board League.  This fixture is due to be played this Sunday 28th February at 12.30pm.

MINORS

Our Minor’s First County League game which was to be played last week is now due to throw in  in Moyvane this Saturday 27th February at 4pm.

FAOI 16

Our U16 game versus Desmonds last weekend also was a victim of the weather.  They now hope to get their campaign underway when they travel to Knock/Brosna next Sunday at 12 noon.

REFEREES COURSE

The County Board are again this year organising a Referees Course. This would qualify a person to ref at all games at club level. Any member of the club interested in completing this course should contact club secretary Fionnán Fitzgerald at 087-9860441.

SENIOR REGISTRATION

There will be a senior registration evening on Friday 26th February between 7.30 and 9.00pm in the Club rooms.  Becoming a member of the Club entitles you to attend and vote at the Club AGM.  It also entitles entry to a draw for an All Ireland ticket should Kerry reach the All Ireland Final.

JUVENILE REGISTRATION

A juvenile registration evening will take place in the Club rooms on Friday 26th February between 7.30 and 9.00pm.  We appeal to all parents of juvenile players who did not get an opportunity to register their child at the first registration night to please attend.

BWILDERED

Saturday 30th April 2016 sees the return of BWildered the John Lenihan Wilderness Challenge which last year judging by the positive feedback from participants proved to be a very successful event.  Once again Ballymac GAA Club and Lee Strand will combine to ensure the event will be an enjoyable one for all taking part.  Full details in next week notes.

U6 ACADEMY

One of the Clubs activities which did not fall foul of the weather last weekend was the first morning of the U6 boys and girls academy held in St. Brendans Hall in Ballydwyer on Sunday morning last.  A most enjoyable time was had by all as new friends were made where the emphasis was on fun and enjoyment.  All will gather again on Sunday morning next at 11.am at the same venue.  If you have a child born in 2010 or 2011 please bring them along.  Any queries please contact the U6 co-ordinator Neilus O Connor on 0879329302.
