Under 10 boys

Our u10 boys had their final outing of the year on Saturday last when they participated in the John Lynch Memorial Blitz hosted by Austin Stacks.

We were included in a group with John Mitchels,Kilmacud Crokes (Dublin) and St Finbarrs(Cork). It was a great experience for our boys to play teams from other counties and they certainly proved to be more than a match for all their opposition.

In their final game against Kenmare from another group it was a closely fought game with the Kenmare boys just edging us in a close finish.

Many thanks to Liam Lynch and Austin Stacks for the invitation and well done to all involved on running a very successful Blitz.

Coiste Scór

Ballymacelligott GAA would like to put forward their biggest ever number of participants for the 50th anniversary of Scór this year.  With eight categories, there is something for everyone.  Scór Sinsir is any age-group over 17yrs.  Scór na nÓg for under 17yrs and Scór na bPaistí for national school children.  Interested in taking part or in mentoring?..give me a call Josephine 086 160 7355.

The competition was established by the GAA in 1969 with the aim of promoting Ireland’s culture while offering club members the chance to meet up, have fun and represent their club during the Winter months while our national games have ceased.
