Runners should be out in force for this years Banna 5k and 10k runs.
THE Banna 10k and 5k road races are all set to make their return for what will be their fifth year this coming weekend as runners put the final touches on what should be an enjoyable day out.
With 400 runners taking part in last year’s event, it is hoped that they will reach similar numbers again for the run this year as well.
The two runs are scheduled to start at 9.30am, with those wishing to walk the 10k route setting off at the earlier time of 9am.
Registration on the day will start from 8am at Car Park 1 of the Banna Sea Rescue building and will be closing again at 9.
The 10k race is open to over 18’s only and will cost €20 to enter, with the 5k being available to all and will cost just €10 to take part.
