THERE’S beach clean-ups taking place across Kerry this weekend with volunteers wanted for two close to Tralee.
It’s part of events nationwide for the Clean Coasts’ Big Beach Clean, which aims to raise awareness about marine litter.
Glan Tralee will be doing a beach clean in Fenit on Sunday from 11am to 1pm for the Big Beach Clean, meeting in Fenit car park beforehand.
Kilmoyley Tidy Towns will be doing a beach clean in Banna on Sunday from 6pm to 8pm. Volunteers are being urged to take part in the Kerry clean-ups at beaches from Tarbert down to Caherdaniel.
