Julie Cahill from CH Chemists applying the Clinique Fresh Pressed Renewing Powder to Lisa O’Mahony of TraleeToday.

Preparing for a night on the town? Lisa O’Mahony of TraleeToday.ie asks the experts at CH Chemists about  how to properly cleanse and moisturise in the days before that special event, to have your skin looking radiant…

Step 1: Consultation

Beauty consultant at CH Chemists, Julie Cahill, went through a list of questions to find out exactly what skin type I was, asking questions like “How often do you experience blemishes?” and “Where are you noticing pores?”. With these questions, she can ascertain which product best suited my skin.

Step 2: Cleanse

This week, we tried Clinique Fresh Pressed Renewing Powder Cleanser. This product is ideal to use the week running up to an event or a night out.

First, you must lather the cleanser onto your face. “Make sure it foams up”, advised Julie.

Leave it on for one minute, and rinse well.

Immediately, the skin looked brighter and more radiant. As the cleanser has pure vitamin C in it, the product must be used within 14 days as it oxidises when left open to the air. For best results, it should be used within seven days.

Step 3: Moisturise

The Clinique Daily Booster is mixed in with your usual moisturiser. Two drops mixed with your moisturiser should deliver a rejuvenating jolt of repair to dull skin.

The major areas you will see a difference in are radiance, skin tone, age spots, texture, lines and wrinkles, firmness and lifting. All Clinique products are fragrance free and great for sensitive skin

What we thought…

We used the product for almost a week and saw a definite improvement in overall radiance. Skin looked rejuvenated and brighter in just one week. Would definitely recommend this product!
