TO find a Cork hurling or football teams among the favourites isn’t as common as it once was, but it’s a Cork Rose who’s carrying their hopes for international glory this year and is currently the shortest odds to win the Rose of Tralee.
Denise Collins from Knocknagree is the 11/2 to be crowned Rose of Tralee in two weeks time. Behind the Cork Rose is the Mayo Rose, Fiona Darby at a price of 10/1 along with the Letrim Rose, Ann Marie Keegan.
Our own Kerry Rose Danielle O’Sullivan is 18/1 while you can get shorter odds on Dublin Rose, Lorna White at 14/1.
