The Blennerville Windmill Threshing Festival is set to have fun for all the family.

IT’S set to be busy couple of Sundays ahead in Blennerville, where families are invited for two great days out.

This Sunday sees the Tony O’Donoghue Memorial Walk take place from St Pat’s GAA Club at 11.30am. All proceeds of the walk will go to the Palliative Care Unit /Kerry Hospice which benefitted to the tune of €2,000 last year from the event.

The walk will be followed by St Pat’s GAA family fun day so it should be great fun for all.

The following Sunday, October 2, will see the annual Blennerville Windmill Threshing Festival, which is one of the oldest threshing and vintage cars shows in Kerry.

Again the emphasis is on family fun with Thomas the Tank Engine visiting in partnership with Chernobyl Children International. There’ll be a Thomas the Tank Engine show on their supervised cinema, bouncy castle, flour making in the windmill, dog show and much more. So if you’re looking to entertain the kids, there’s your next two Sundays sorted.
