TRALEE’S Bon Secours Hospital has Ireland’s highest hand hygiene levels for the second time in a row according to the latest Health Protection Surveillance Centre Survey of 54 Irish hospitals.
The survey is carried out by the HSE infectious disease watchdog every six months.
The Bon Secours Hospital Tralee is 95% compliant which is 10% above the HSE target.
All four Bon Secours Hospitals, Ireland’s biggest private hospital group, feature in the top 10 with the Bon Secours Tralee first, Cork 3rd, Dublin 5th and Galway 8th.
