BON Secours staff undertook a challenge recently in aid of Kerry Hospice Foundation.

The team of ten staff from the patient accounts department, based at Monavalley Industrial Estate, took on a ‘Strava’ walking challenge.

They clocked up 1,800 kilometres between them during March and raised €200 which was presented to Maura Sullivan of Kerry Hospice on Tuesday.

Maura expressed her gratitude to the participants on behalf of Kerry Hospice. “It was a very different challenge to take on. A lot of our regular fundraisers have had to be cancelled due to restrictions, so it’s nice to see people thinking outside the box and do something like this,” said Maura.
