Boost For Kerry Camino As It Features On RTÉ Website

THE Kerry Camino walk has is featured on the RTÉ lifestyle section with sports journalist Tadhg Peavoy documenting his journey along the famous route.

The Kerry Camino was started just two years ago by Tralee people and has grown in popularity, tracing the route that St. Brendan took when he walked along the peninsula in the sixth century spreading Christianity from Tralee to Dingle.

Just this year the Camino has been included in Irelandways.com – a new website showcasing the many beautiful walkways in Ireland, The company who Tadhg Peavoy and many other journalists to Tralee in April.

Irelandways.com chose Tralee Wetlands as the location to launch the website and the journalists enjoyed the Tralee hospitality before embarking on a leg of the Camino.

In the review, Tadhg extols the facilities Tralee has, with special mention for The Grand Hotel and Sean Og’s, while he also enjoyed a walking tour of the town and praises “beautiful public park and the local courthouse”.
