VIDEO/PHOTOS: Stacks Fans Kidnap ‘Fungi’ For The Day

THE Austin Stacks fans are renowned for the colour they bring to matches and Sunday was no exception.

They even had a special guest in the form of Fungi dressed in an Austin Stacks jersey (see video below). The fans gathered at headquarters in Connolly Park and paraded up to Austin Stack Park singing all the way.

Chants of ‘Fungi is a Rockie’ rang out around the ground before the game started and there was no point in the game where they were in danger of losing their voice as Stacks dominated the match.

No doubt they’ll be out in force for the final, which is likely to be in Killarney, as Mid Kerry triumphed over Shannon Rangers in the other semi-final by 1-12 to 0-7.
