YESTERDAY may not have been the best of days for Bryan Cooper, but that was forgotten by 4.20pm this afternoon.
The Tralee jockey was on ‘Road To Respect’ who won the Brown Advisory & Merriebelle Stable Plate Handicap.
He brought home the Noel Meade trained horse at odds of 14/1 to no doubt delight the punters in his hometown.
He also had a second place with Disko is the opener and a third aboard Barra in the 4.50pm race. Meanwhile, Jack Kennedy from Dingle has a third place finish on Jury Duty in the 2.10pm race.
Well done Bryan and Jack and let’s hope there’s more on the way before tomorrow evening.
