CAHERLEAHEEN N.S turned blue yesterday as pupils and staff highlighted an important issue.
As part of their ongoing two year Green Schools Water Theme Programme, both pupils and staff dressed in blue to.
“The main aim of the day was to raise awareness about the importance of protecting, respecting and conserving water at home, in schools and communities and in the water environment,” said Donal O’Connor, Principal at Caherleaheen NS.
“The children have and will continue to engage in different water activities over the coming months,” he added.
