The Kerry Rose title is always a prestigious honour, given that it’s the home county of the Rose of Tralee International Festival, now heading towards its 61st festival.

This year the Kerry Rose Centre’s chosen charity is the Irish Guide Dogs, and accompanying Sally Ann Leahy at the launch recently was chairperson of the Kerry Branch Dara Ó Cinnéide and Anne Brady who is a puppy raiser with the branch, as well as two beautiful dogs. To enter simply log on to www.roseoftralee.ie .
