Tralee needs to be looking its best for the Tidy Towns judges..

IT’S that time of the year when the Tidy Towns judges make their way around the towns and villages of the country.

Tralee is looking good, but more needs to be done if it is to retain the Gold Medal this year according to the local Tidy Towns committee.

More volunteers are needed to get the town looking its best as the judging is due to begin next week.

Homeowners and businesses are being asked to have their properties looking their best and  this evening the committee is looking for volunteers to meet up at 7pm in Garvey’s Supervalu carpark.

Gloves and bags will be provided for the hour-long clean-up of the town centre and other areas.
