A CANDLELIGHT vigil will be held in Tralee tonight for the victims of the mass shooting at a nightclub in Florida yesterday.
The vigil will take place at 9pm in the Square and is organised by members of the LGBT community and friends to show solidarity with the gay community and remember the victime of the massacre in Orlando.
An American-born man, Omar Mateen, who had pledged allegiance to ISIS, gunned down 50 people in the early hours of Sunday at a gay nightclub in the city, the deadliest mass shooting in the United States and America’s worst terror attack since 9/11.
All are welcome to attend the vigil.
