A CANDLELIGHT vigil  to remember the two homeless people who died in Dublin and Kildare in the past two days will be held in Tralee tonight.

“We want to give them the dignity and respect that they should have gotten while alive, and for all the homeless in the country,” said the organisers of the event, which takes place from 8.30pm to 9pm in The Square.

Jack Watson died after being found unconscious outside a shop on Suffolk Street in Dublin’s city centre on Thursday morning. The former chef, who was in his 50s, was one of the residents of Apollo House last Christmas.

A 26-year-old homeless woman who had just been allocated a home by South Dublin County Council was found dead in the hotel room she was sharing with her two children in Leixlip, Co Kildare on Wednesday night.

    A CANDLELIGHT vigil!!!!!!!!

This is the result of unrestricted immigration into the country. Supply and demand and force up rents……………….A CANDLELIGHT vigil under the behinds of our overpaid politicians….even better!

I say the native Irish people deserve better as they suffered throughout history for too far long, especially in their own land. The fact of the matter is there is no reason for this housing crisis but the purposeful act of restoring property prices to pre property crash levels of 2008 and make the banks balance sheet better off and satisfy our masters in the ECB and EU.

The establishment could easily start building social housing – creating jobs and extra cash flow into the wider economy too!
    Why would they not!
Oops, the price of property would stall for the banks recovering balance sheets and even worse think about the falling rents of the banks clients (the investor landlords) on the banks books. No the ECB and EU would not be happy – our great Chancellor Angela Merkel would be very disappointed with her vassal state, she has little time for Greek or Irish people – she prefers to worry about non EU citizens that never paid taxes in a EU nation to be giving housing, health and all other social services paid for by native EU citizens to them.
Housing for the native European Irish (privileged white people), coming soon………but, not too soon.

LOL, it would be a joke but for the tragedy of it all.
