Carmel Wins A Volunteer Of The Year Award From Camogie Association

A MEMBER of Tralee Parnells Hurling and Camogie Club was honoured at national level at an awards ceremony in Croke Park on Saturday.

Tralee Parnells Camogie Chairperson, Carmel O’Shea-Maloney was given a Volunteer of the Year Award at The Camogie Association Volunteer and Media Awards Dinner.

Over 100 guests were in attendance at the event at which Volunteer and Media Award winners were honoured for their contributions to the Association in 2017.

Carmel was described as being “at the heart and soul of the camogie side of our club” on the Tralee Parnells Facebook page.

“All of us at Tralee Parnells Hurling and Camogie Club would like to congratulate her on this milestone of achievement which is thoroughly deserved for the years of hard work.  Congratulations Carmel on the award and the years’ service to Tralee Parnells,” read the post.
