Cash And Jewellery Stolen From House In Ballyard

GARDAI are appealing for the public’s help after a burglary at a house in Ballyard at the weekend.

The incident occurred on Sunday, June 3, between 10.15pm and 1am on Monday, June 4.

A homeowner in Beenoskee, Ballyard, returned home to find the back window had been smashed and a number of items missing, including €1,000 in cash, a Nexus tablet, a Nikon camera (model D200) and lens, three gold necklaces to the value of €1,500.

Gardaí are asking if they saw any suspicious activity around that area on the night in question to contact them at Tralee Garda Station on 066-7102300.

This is the second burglary in Beenoskee about which the gardai have appealed for information in the past month.

Between the night of May 8 and the morning of May 9, a house was broken into in the Beenoskee area with a quantity of cash and some jewellery taken.
