REPRO FREE - 64 men from all over Ireland have made it through the famous Boot Camp Weekend in Kerry to take their places as Rose Escorts at this year’s Rose of Tralee International Festival from 16 to 22 August. The lads had to carry out a range activities including a hike over Mount Brandon - Ireland’s second highest mountain – cliff diving, water-skiing, cycling, turf-footing, abseiling, kayaking, surfing, ironing and sewing in order to prove they will have the stamina to be Rose Escorts.

St Ita’s & St Joseph’s in Tralee was filled with lots of excitement when Lee Strand visited this week to present a cheque of €500 in the Cash 4 Schools Draw. Speaking at the presentation Luke Scollard who represented the student council stated “I would like to thank Lee Strand for the kind donation. This money will be put towards technology for our school. We would also like to thank Lee Strand for giving us homework diaries each year. It is nice for our students to see the keen interest Lee Strand show in our school system. Earlier in the year Ms Healy took us as part of our preparation for work course to visit Lee Strand. We saw how the company operates and it showed us where we can get employment in the future. Once again a very big thank you to Lee Strand from all in St Ita’s & St Joseph’s.”
