 IT Tralee Fourth year BSc in Health and Leisure Studies students are busy preparing for their upcoming charity event, ’The Fitness Face Off’, taking place at John Mitchel's Sport Complex on Sunday 4th December are looking for 16 teams of 4 (2 males, 2 females) from local gyms and sports clubs in the Tralee area to compete against each other in a series of fun events, that will challenge their physical and psychological skills”, says David Doyle one of the organisers from the BSc in Health and Leisure Studies (Wellness) originally from Wicklow. The cost of entry is €100 per team and all proceeds go to Special Olympics Ireland towards the World Games taking place in Austria from the 14th-25th March 2017.

The Health and Leisure Department is very impressed by the students work to date and the event promises to be a fun day for all while promoting the positive benefits of fitness”, says Health & Leisure Lecturer Trevor Dunne.
