Ballincrossig NS, Ballyduff wins €500 in Lee Strand Cash 4 Schools June Draw

Ballincrossig NS in Ballyduff was presented this week with a Lee Strand Cash 4 Schools €500 cheque. Speaking at the presentation Principal Dianne Crean stated “Ballincrossig N.S. were thrilled to win €500 in the Lee Strand Cash 4 Schools. Grandmothers, grandfathers, aunties, uncles and cousins as well as parents were enlisted to collect Mighty Mikey Milk mascots. The €500 will be used to procure another raised bed for our school garden and graded readers for our shared reading programme. We would like to thank Lee Strand and express how grateful the whole school community are for the €500.”

John O’Sullivan, General Manager, Lee Strand said “Lee Strand would like to congratulate Ballincrossig NS. During the past academic year a total of €2,000 was presented to schools in Kerry & West Limerick providing much valued financial support for schools. Cash 4 Schools will continue in the forthcoming academic year, so keep collecting your Mighty Mikey Milk tokens over the summer for the next draw.”

St Ita’s & St Joseph’s in Tralee was filled with lots of excitement when Lee Strand visited this week to present a cheque of €500 in the Cash 4 Schools Draw. Speaking at the presentation Luke Scollard who represented the student council stated “I would like to thank Lee Strand for the kind donation. This money will be put towards technology for our school. We would also like to thank Lee Strand for giving us homework diaries each year. It is nice for our students to see the keen interest Lee Strand show in our school system. Earlier in the year Ms Healy took us as part of our preparation for work course to visit Lee Strand. We saw how the company operates and it showed us where we can get employment in the future. Once again a very big thank you to Lee Strand from all in St Ita’s & St Joseph’s.”
