NEWS RELEASE
Big €500 Win for St. Brendan’s NS, Fenit in Lee Strand Cash 4 Schools Draw

Lee Strand visited St. Brendan’s NS in Fenit this week to present a cheque of €500 in the Cash 4 Schools Draw. John O’Sullivan, General Manager, Lee Strand stated “Once again this year Lee Strand will present a total of €2,000 to schools in Kerry & West Limerick providing much valued financial support for schools. We would like to congratulate our first €500 winner this year St. Brendan’s NS and wish all schools the best of luck in the next three draws.”

Speaking at the presentation Aisling O’Sullivan, Principal stated “The staff and children of St Brendan's National School were delighted to hear the exciting news that we had won the Lee Strand monthly draw. We have been collecting Mighty Mikey tokens since the initiative began. Despite being a small school through extended family support we manage to gather a huge amount of tokens every month. We must particularly mention the chairperson of our Parents' Council who counts and packages the tokens every month for our entries. Although we have not decided how the money will be spent we do have two exciting projects in the pipeline. One is our new Astro Turf pitch and the other is the extension and development of our school garden. St Brendan’s are very lucky to have a long and supportive association with Lee Strand, especially since Mighty Mikey was the brainchild of one of our past pupils, Ms. Roisin Lunch. We participate and benefit from the complimentary Lee Strand school journals annually and the children love to see the new journal layout.”

To enter the next draw simply collect 10 Mighty Mikey Milk mascots printed on Lee Strand 1 Litre and pint cartons or 2 Litre plastic bottles. Post your 10 mascots along with your name, address and telephone number to: Win €500 Cash 4 Schools Competition, Lee Strand, Ballymullen, Tralee, Co. Kerry. The next draw will take place on Friday, November 30th, 2018. For further information please contact 066 7121084 or visit
