CBS The Green have advanced to the Corn Uí Mhuirí Munster Colleges semi-final after a comprehensive win over St Flannan’s of Ennis today at Rathkeale.
The Green scored 4-16 to the Clare side’s 1-7 in a game where the Tralee side really pulled away in the second half.
With the scores 2-8 to 1-5 at half-time, Tralee outscored their opponents by 2-9 to 0-2 in the second period. They will now play Coláiste Choilm, Ballincollig in the semi-final on Saturday, February 3 where they’ll be looking to get to the final for the second year in a row.
Reigning champions St Brendan’s Killarney will face Pobalscoil Corca Dhuibhne in an all-Kerry semi-final after both teams won today. PS Chorca Dhuibhne beat IS Killorglin by 0-16 to 1-7 in Austin Stack Park while St Brendan’s Killarney overcame DLS Macroom by 0-17 to 0-13.
