THE CBS The Green Parents Council has donated €500 to Jigsaw Kerry after holding a 5km Virtual Run in March.

Over four days in March, the CBS The Green Community ran, walked, jogged and meandered their way through various 5km routes throughout the town and county in our 1st ever 5Km Virtual Run.

They were raising funds for school activities in general and hoped to make enough to donate to Jigsaw Kerry also.

Over 400 people registered for the event and families, current and past pupils and runners in general uploaded photos and routes and times throughout the weekend.

The run took place at a time when only Leaving Cert students were back at school, so it was a great opportunity for the school community to come together while apart.

Jigsaw offers a mental health service to young people aged 12 – 25 in Kerry and throughout the country and the school was delighted to be associated with the organisation and to support them in their work.
