A TRALEE institution has been shortlisted in the prestigious Irish Times Best Shops in Ireland 2016 competition.
CH Chemists has been included in the Best Family-Run Shop category in the competition. Now in its fifth year, the Irish Times Best Shops in Ireland awards, backed by AIB, seek to reward independent shop owners who are getting it right according to the customer.

Last year the competition attracted more than 31,000 nominations from Irish Times readers for close on 2,800 shops in 32 counties so it’s great going to make the final 100 shortlist this year.
It’s not the only Kerry shop to make the cut. The Little Cheese Shop, Gray’s Lane, Dingle, and Nest in Kenmare were also shortlisted in other categories. The winners will be announced on August 27.
