A LOCAL cycling club is encouraging people to get involved in the sport with a mentoring programme information night this week.
With the spring and then summer fast approaching, the Chain Gang Cycling Club say getting back onto the bike is a great way to see the new seasons unfolding.
On Thursday at 8pm in The Meadowlands Hotel, they present an evening ‘Saddle up for summer cycling’ which will be a precursor to the club mentoring programme which will begin on Sunday, March 1 at 9.15am at the hotel.
On the night there will be a presentation by the club. They will focus on what they do, how it works, how to become a member, what to expect, the mentored programme and much more. For more information email secretary@thechaingang.cc
