Kieran Ruttledge is glad that there’s a Tralee team contesting the county final on Sunday.

IT’LL be a tall order for some, but the CEO of Tralee Chamber Alliance has urged all Tralee people to support the Rockies Parade through town on Sunday.

The spotlight will be on Tralee next weekend when thousands of GAA fans will be in town for the County Senior Football Final and the Chamber Alliance would like everyone in the locality to make it a special day for all involved.

Fans of the Rockies will gather at the Austin Stacks Clubhouse in Connolly Park at around noon on Sunday and from there they will walk to Austin Stack Park at 1.45pm sharp to see their team take on Mid Kerry.

The CEO of Tralee Chamber Alliance, Kieran Ruttledge, said:  “We are grateful to Kerry County Board for allocating the final to Tralee. It is now up to us as hosts to make all the supporters welcome on their big day. It’s great that Austin Stacks from Tralee will be in the senior final and we are sure that the presence of a local team in the final will certainly add to the atmosphere to the town centre. Local people, regardless of their club loyalties, should go to town on Sunday to support the Rockies Parade.”

Supporters from Mid Kerry as well as the Austin Stacks faithful followers can look forward to enjoying some tasty pre-match lunch specials and post-match entertainment in many of Tralee’s pubs and hotels.
