A NEW Garda Chief Superintendent will be appointed for Kerry next month in a reshuffle of positions in Cork and Kerry.
Just three months ago, Cork man Con Cadogan took over as Kerry Garda Chief Superintendent, but he will now move back to Bandon.
He will be replaced by Tom Myers, who has been recently promoted to the rank of Chief Superintendent, a native of Gurraunabraher in Cork city. He will take up the new position on December 13.

He will be the third man in the role since Pat Sullivan retired last January. He was replaced by Chief Supt Dave Sheahan in March, followed by Chief Supt Con Cadogan in August.
Hope they get it right this time!
